9-10-08 WOD


Navy SEAL Lt. Michael Murphy received the Congressional Medal of Honor (MOH), our nation's highest honor, on October 22, 2007.

"Murph"

For time:

1 mile run
100 pullups
200 pushups
300 air squats
1 mile run

**This WOD was completed by Lt. Murphy wearing 20# body armor! If you have a weighted vest or body armor, wear it.

50:xx, since I didn't have body armour, I was going to throw Kped on my back during pushups, but I didn't want to offend him... :) And yes.. I did jumping pullups.

I'm going to try to get in there today as I'd like to do this workout.

On a related matter, "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell should be required reading for every American. As the title indicates, he was the lone survivor of the Navy SEAL mission in Afghanistan that turned into the largest US Special Forces loss in history. Unbelievable portrayl of the unbelievable people serving this country.

47:04 (Rx) for me. Quite enjoyable but the second mile run really pissed me off...room for couple minutes improvement on that aspect alone next time for sure.
